The best idea is the one that kills two birds with one stone. The Islands for energy and water. The oceans are vast and deep and this is one place left in the world that still has plenty of water and never ending energy. We need new clean water, and clean energy sources.

As far as health care reform is concerned, I see a pattern here. For years as a teacher and student I wondered why education was rarely given the funds it needed but I see clearly now.

The current health care system in the United States has not been working well for people for many years now. It is working very nicely for insurance and drug companies. We need an overhaul of this system that will provide options and coverage for people who have been given shoddy or no coverage.

I am not skeptical about White House plans to overhaul health care. I am angry that the Health Care Industry has so much influence in the network news coverage of this issue. I am not confused, skeptical, nor have I given up on the public health care option.

I am disappointed that no one is talking about how corporate sponsors are influencing how network news outlets are slanting coverage of the health care debate.

The very idea of the "Classic Car" was invented as a sales pitch designed to sell cars. It would be foolish to produce more cars like this when we can clearly see how harmful these gas guzzlers are. The only people who benefit from them are oil companies and car dealers.
